That's the rumor on the Yahoo Message Board. South Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare said the government will invest 33 billion won in stem cell research and regenerative medical treatment this year. This is four times as much as last year's sum. Will the South Koreans buy Geron's stem cell business. I hope so but 33 billion won is only about 30 million dollars. I think they'll be a little short.
Geron closed up 3 cents at $1.56 on 664,553 shares. The three month avg. is 960,623 shares.
