ACTC closed at 0.1147 on only 6 million shares three month avg. volume 6.9 million shares. ACTC will have a conferencce call March 2nd at 9AM, I'll be listening.

Geron closed at $2.00 the range for today was $2.00-$2.10 on only 866,575 shares, three month avg. volume is 1,268,440 million shares. Earnings on March 7th with conference call, I will be listening. I think we go under $2. The next real catalyst will be the actual sale or partnership of the stem cell business. If it's a good deal and that's a big IF the share price should hit $3. That should happen soon 2-3 months. Then the 4 phase II trials that end Dec 2012 will make or break Geron. Good results $6-10 a shares, bad results pennies a share.

Geron: Earnings Conference Call March 7th at 4:30PM.

I listened to Chip today at the 2012 Global Health Care Conference in New York City. It was the same report given a few weeks ago. The share price didn't move $2.10 at the being and at the end of Chip's report, volume was good over 700,000.

Good article gives 7 reasons to buy Geron

Seeking Alpha: Geron Corp. Why I Decided to Take a Flyer on This $2 Biotech Stock. It's a good article, gives 7 reasons to take a flyer on Geron. I've given most of those reasons in this blog. Geron closed at $2.05 the days range $2.02-$2.07 on only 604,588 shares, the three month avg. is 1,291,420 shares.
Again no report on earnings, way passed due. I still think it's good news coming. With no increase in volume or share price it's just a guess.

ACTC closed up at 0.1125 on 10.3 million shares the three month avg. is 16.7 million shares. I have my core holding of 20,000 shares will only add more at around 10 cents.

good article on Geron

Title of the article, "breakthrough cancer treatments help death rates fall." Geron stock price $2.05. Volumes only 204,500 shares. Still no word of the earnings. Thinking Chip will have good news on Feb 28th. This will be a make or break year for Geron. With six phase 2 trials, 4 are ending in December of this year. If results are good to Geron go to $10. If results are bad Geron goes to pennies.

ACTC is up at 0.115 on light volume. If they can get good results on their phase 2 trials making the blind see stock should go up to a dollar.

Chip tell us about the earnings

No earnings, the date was for Feb 21st. I'm thinking just maybe some good news on Feb 28th, live webcast at 11AM, Chip will speak. The volume says no, the price action says no. So I'm going to say maybe some good news. Geron closed down 5 cents at $2.02 on only 537,103 shares, three month avg. volume was 1,291,420.

ACTC held 10 cents and closed at .1077 on 3,778,051 shares the three month avg. volume was 16,587,800 shares. I think it might break 10 cents but will rebound.

Chip Earnings Please

No earnings out as of 4PM Thur. Geron closed up at $2.06 the range was $1.96-$2.08. Volume was under a million shares.  Remember Chip speaks Feb 28th and it will be webcasted.

Bought a few more shares of ACTC at .1035, thinking we'll test 10 cents Friday. If no good news we could go lower. If so I'll buy a few more shares. The science should work, [the blind will see] the market will want proof.

Chip to speak Feb 28th Geron's earnings due

Geron's earnings are due [Feb 20th] they're late. I hope it's because of a deal for the stem cell business. Chip will speak Feb 28th at 11AM at Citi 2012 Global Health Care Conference in New York City. The stock price says no deal. It closed under $2 at $1.96, volume was only 1,109,163 shares.

Geron slowly moving up, earnings next week

Geron closed at $2.15 on 1,720,300 shares. Three month avg is 1,347,060 shares, ten day avg. 1,108,499 shares, and 5 day avg 1,264,540 shares. The share price 10 days ago was $1.99. e are slowly moving up.  Earnings will be around -18 cents shares.  It will be interesting to see if there income increases. Again this year will make or break Geron. The four Phase 2 trials will have results at the end of 2012. If good, Geron will double in price maybe more, a partner will be found if results are good to pay for Phase 3 trials. On any price spike will sell a few covered calls.

ACTC had three good stories but closed at .1120 on weak volume. Market wants verifiable results, then we move much higher. Still looking o buy more around .1050.

Geron and ACTC both up on increase volume

It was a good day. Geron closed up 12 cents to $2.14 on 1,858,278 shares, three month avg. is 1,370,830 shares. I checked the Yahoo Message Broad and found "Sources Confirm Geron has suitors." If it's true we will have more volume with increase in share price Friday. Hoping it's true. Will sell some covered called when it's announced.

ACTC was up 5% closed at 0.1150 on 17,581,726 shares, three month avg. 16,374,100 shares. Check out Gary Rabin the Chairman's blog on ACTC website. Talks about why the Clinical Trials for Dry AMD is moving slowly. Still would like to buy more around .105.

Favorable News from ACTC and Stem Cell Inc.

The headline reads: Favorable News from Advanced Cell Technology and Stem Cell Inc. Boosts Optimism in Regenerative Medicine Industry. Well maybe, but the markets not buying it. Geron closed up 2 cents at $2.02, on 1.6 million shares, the price range for today was $1.98-$2.14. Thinking of buying a few calls under $2, ACTC closed down just a little under 11 cent. Trying to buy more around .105.

Chip spoke

Things are slowly moving along for Geron. Chip stated they are in talks with people to sell the stem cell business. Geron has $150 million in cash and will burn $65 million this year. Geron will have results from 4 Phase 2 trials by the end of 2012 and 2 more Phase 2 trials by the 2nd Q of 2013. If the Phase 2 results are good Geron will get a parnter and stay in business. If not down we go. I feel Geron will have good results and will get a partner. I have a 10,000+ share bet on it.

Chip speaks Feb 14th 1:30PM Geron

Chip will speak Tuesday at 1:30PM it will be webcasted. Looking at the volume and share price I'd say no good news. Hope I'm wrong and Chip says Geron has a partner and tons of cash. Geron closed at $2.02 on only 557,393 shares. Avg. three month volume is 1,513,500 shares..

ACTC had good news and was up early but closed lower at .1065 the day range was .1144-.1060. The volume was 11 million shares, avg. three month volume is 16.3 million shares.
The good news was third patient with Stargardt's Disease treated in U.S. Clinical Trial with RPE Cell Derived from Embryonic Stem Cells.

Geron Week in Review

Geron is a waiting game. Waiting on a partnership, waiting on good results from Phase II trials. Still feel Geron's share price will slowly go higher. Geron has 6 Phase II Trials on going. Four will have results in Dec 2012, 2 will have results around May 2013. Without good results from the Phase II trials, the share price will go to a few pennies. With good results 5-10 dollars, then if Geron partners 10-20 dollars

Geron's five day volume avg. was 952,540, ten day avg. was 1,047,355 and three month avg. 1,519,600.
No increase in volume or price, no news.

I was surprised that ACTC went up today in a down market. ACTC closed at .1090 on only 9 million shares, three month avg. 16,121,600 shares. Still looking to buy a few more shares. No news.

Geron closed down just under $2.00 on only 611,558 shares, three month avg. 1,521,540 shares.
No volume, no news. Chip may have some news on Feb. 14th.

ACTC closed up Geron still above $2

ACTC rumor on Yahoo Message Broad is: Partnership, Lanza/Langer(NVIV/ACTC) might just have the lead in  regenerative medicine when combining ACTC's 'HEMANGIO-COLONY FORMING CELLS' and NVIV's scaffolding device. It's not likely. Why? Because both need money very soon. Say they do partner, who's going to pay for the trials? Both need  MONEY.
I sold a few shares of ACTC at 11 cents today [the shares a bought at .105] made a little money. Will buy again around 10 cents. ACTC closed at .1070, the range for today was .11-.1035, volume was 9.5 million shares, ten day avg is 33.2 million shares.

Geron closed down 2 cents at $2.05 volume was only 456,731 shares, ten day avg. is 1,391,444 shares. Looks like no one knows any thing good or bad. Hoping Chip will say some thing Feb 14th, it will be webcasted.

ACTC closed at .1031 down again, I bought a few shares at .105. Volume was 15.5 million shares, three month avg. 15.9 million shares.  No news.

Geron closed up 8 cents to $2.07 on 1.3 million shares three month avg. is 1.5 million. Some news today, Chip the CEO will present at the BIO CEO & Investor Conference in New York City Feb 14th at 1:30PM. A live webcast will be available. Lets watch the share price and volume. ACTC closed down again .1065. I missed out on buying, computer was working very slow. It's 9 years old. Working on the lap now. ACTC volume was 26.5 millions, the three month avg. is 15.6 milion shares. Will buy a few shares around 10 cents. Remember biotechs are extremely risky and pennies biotechs are double that.

Geron closed down under $2.00 at $1.99. Volume was only 939,862 shares, three month avg. is 1.5 million shares. Still feel Geron will slowly move higher, waiting on good news.

ACTC down three days in a row. Geron above $2

ACTC closed down three days in a row at 0.112. volume was 25+million shares, three month avg. 15.6 million shares. I think with no good news we head lower. Will buy a few shares under 11 cents.

Geron had an interesting open. I checked at 9:32AM and it was $1.88 down 20 cents. Why? Bads news? I checked and could find nothing, was going to buy a few shares. It only took a few minutes.  But Geron was up over $2.00 by the time I got back to my E*Trade account. Geron closed at $2.03 down .045. Still feel Geron will move up, waiting for good news on the trials and partnering.

ACTC went down after going up 2 days in a row. Volume was 22.6 million down from 34.3 million Thurs. I sold a few shares at .1325 made a little money. ACTC closed at 0.121 down 6.2%. It's hard to say if ACTC will go down more Monday. No word on if the dilution is over. Thinking it will go under 12 cent with no more added shares. With more shares 9 cents. Will buy more under 11 cents.

Geron Completes Enrollment Phase 2 Clinical Trial of Imetelstat in Breast Cancer

That's good news for Geron. Hopefully at the end of this year the results will be great.
Geron closed up 3 cent at $2.02 on avg volume.

ACTC was up 2nd day in a row on 34.3 milion share at .1290 a 7.59% gain. Volume was 49.9 Wed. so I may sell a few shares Friday because the volume was down which to me means the price may follow.
Rumor on Yahoo message board ACTC is talking with Amgen regarding and interesting arrangement.

ACTC up 19% today

I was right for once [mark it on the calendar] , Tue was the low for now at 10 cents. We ran up to 12 cents today and closed just under that, on over 45 million shares. I think we will hold 10 cents it now, with no more bad news. With some good news hoping for 20 cents.

Geron closed at $1.98 the same as Tue. volume was a little better over a million. No news.
