Rumors on the Yahoo Message Board. Geron will be be spinning off the stem-cell programs, merge with a big pharma company. It will happen by the end of Dec 2012 at the latest or when the Viacyte case is cleared. The additional 100M shares may have come from negotiations for such a deal.
Geron closed down at $1.58 a share on only 653,280 shares.
Will any of this happen, who knows, by the volume and share price, nothing is happening soon.
